Next month, Samsung will drop six pairs of limited-edition sneakers, available only to Samsung Members in a contest. The “Shortcut Sneaker” takes advantage of gesture-free tech; allowing you to use a range of motion (from your feet) to trigger a playlist or even make a phone call. The exclusive, wearable tech has been created in partnership with Elitac Wearables and esteemed sneaker designer Roel van Hoff. The soles of the Shortcut Sneaker contain motion sensors, connected to six actions; but information on how the actions will work with smartphones has not been released yet. You can enter the competition as a Samsung Member until July 9th. Winners will be announced July 15th.
