Federal safety regulators in the U.S. are launching an investigation into Tesla after receiving complaints of steering wheels falling off.
Two customers of the Model Y vehicle reported experiencing the issue while driving with low mileage; their steering wheels were manufactured without specific bolt. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says their investigation will cover 120,000 vehicles from the 2023 model year.
